A new sampler of what's possible on tenor guitar. I had to leave out a lot due to time constraints. Perhaps I'll knock out another titled "The Cutting Room Floor", featuring 10-15 second snippets of what got left behind.

First up:
1. Es El Amor Mariposa
(Love is like a butterfly)
This is a song from early California.

2. O'Carolan's Concerto.
Written by the legendary, blind Irish harper, played on my Tenortrope! I bought it directly from John Dopyera in 1972 for $100!

3. Coimbra (a university city in Portugal)

4. Sevillanas: A couples dance from Seville, part of the flamenco tradition.

5. La Cumparsita (the masked woman)
An Argentine tango.

6. Adios Muchachos,
Another tango, by Carlos Gardel.
The lyrics are about the effects of
partying too much in the big city,
and longing to return to the farm and
those left behind. "Goodbye, boys"

7. Chances Are, the great Johnny Mathis hit.
Performed on my Stratotenor, built
from a Squire strat. I narrowed the
neck and made other appropriate conversions.
