Christopher Nolan makes movies on the biggest scale possible. His use of 15 perforation 70 millimeter IMAX large format film only enhances the scope of the worlds his films inhibit.
Come take a stroll with me as we ponder if his NEXT will be his BIGGEST YET.
From Super 8 film as a boy to helping to design the newest IMAX CAMERAS, Christopher Nolan's passion for film is evident in each film he makes.
In this Essay I disscuss the differences between 16mm, 35mm, 5/70mm, 15/70mm, digital and all their GLORY. We go over The IMAX Corp., large format photography's history with 65mm and Super Pan-O-Vision, and how Chrispther Nolan's The Dark Knight re-ignighted the cinema once again to vye for a film - one day - maybe some day soon... made ENTIRELY IMAX.
