The Chapora Fort is in North Goa, 21.7 kilometers from Panaji, is famously called Dil Chahta Hai Fort. This fort overlooks the Chapora river and and is only 700 meters away from Vagator Beach. It was established by Mohammed Adil Shah who ruled the Bijapur dynasty between 1627 and 1656.
