I did use a square brush mainly but right at the end I do use a standard soft round brush, no special brushes required. Except the square brush I did create myself, that is a 2min job. Nothing spectacular...
For hardware I use a Mac and an Wacom Intuos 5 tablet that I'm already using for ages. Mac is not all that anymore, my previous Mac was a lot better, with this one I run into problems pretty often. Not enough ports, not enough memory... always something. Rendering this video was a real pain in the bottom part. I managed though... with a lot of stress to be fair.
My Adobe license is coming to an end and I'm not quite sure if I want to extend it... You don't own it, you rent it ... so I might expand to other software soon.
