Sky's Still Blue | One Tree Hill
Well, I couldn't just let OTH end without giving it some sort of tribute. I started/finished this all today, I worked on it from like 5pm to (now), 1am and I'm pretty proud of it.
This show, man. It was my first real, legit obsession. (Besides BtVS but that was before the internet and whatnot) And even though I've had a love/hate relationship with it for a while and refused to watch seasons 7/8 while they aired because I was bitter about Lucas and Peyton leaving...I'm still really sad to see it end. I watched 7/8 a few months ago and I wound up really enjoying them and I watched all of season 9 and I still enjoyed the characters so it was upsetting to have to say goodbye to them. They've become like family to me, basically.
As for my thoughts on the finale, I liked it. They tied everything up nicely. I wish they would've at least mentioned Lucas and Peyton, instead of having Peyton's bedroom there...but making it all about Brooke. It was Peyton's room, not Brooke's and Peyton should've been the focus in there. And Lucas was the main focus of the show, and while I loved his guest appearance for Haley a few episodes back, he still should've been included in the finale somehow. I get that the characters left but the writers could've done a better job of keeping their memory alive, especially considering they were the main focus of the show for such a long time.
Other than that, it was great, lol.
It was SO HARD trying to fit everything I wanted to fit into this video. I love basically everything about the show and couldn't fit it all into 3 minutes. I concentrated mainly on the core 5 characters: Peyton, Lucas, Nathan, Haley and Brooke. And I do love Clay and Quinn so I added as much of them as I could. I tried to include as many different relationship and friendship scenes as I could...I even used the Chris/Nathan hug lmao. I won't apologize for the heavy amounts of Lucas/Peyton and Lucas/Haley because they are my favorite relationship and friendship, respectively, of the show...which explains why Lucas leaving the show killed me -_- lmao.
There was a bit of a rendering glitch, so the last 3 seconds got cut off but that's okay lol.
