L25 Steady state error and static error coefficients

In this video initially the expression of steady state error for classical single loop negative feedback system ( system represented in canonical structure) is derived. Then the static error coefficients viz. position error constant k_p, velocity error constant k_v and acceleration error constant k_a are defined form the expression of steady state error for step, ramp and parabolic inputs respectively. The standard values of k_p, k_v and k_a for type 0, type 1 and type 2 systems are also obtained. Finally the deduced expressions for steady state error in terms of static error constants for step, ramp and parabolic inputs are obtained.
