With the loft framed and the cedar ceiling installed, this episode focuses on getting the walls fully insulated and then closed up for good! We’re completing the final wall insulation, which is a crucial step for maintaining comfort and efficiency in an off-grid cabin.
The real transformation comes with installing the interior wood sheeting! Watch as the bare studs disappear, replaced by a warm, continuous wooden finish that immediately gives the cabin its character and cozy feel.
Finally, we hit a massive milestone: installing the very first piece of built-in furniture—the mini kitchen counter with drawers. I'll share my tips for maximizing storage with custom drawer builds in a tiny space and showing you how this first utility piece finally makes the home functional.
