A Video Tour of Mitino Landscape Park
The area, home to the Mitino Landscape Park since 2014, preserves the memory of several millennia of human history and is unrivaled in the Moscow region for its high density of surviving archaeological sites.
The oldest of these sites arose on this site in the 7th century BC – long before the formation of the Old Russian state. Furthermore, the road from Moscow to Volok Lamsky passed through the southern part of the park from the 14th to the 19th centuries AD.
