Tom, a seasoned pilot, is traumatized by the nightmare of a plane crash that ended his career and killed 169 people. Guilt ridden he gives up flying for a reclusive life in the Florida Keys. However when another accident follows an eerily similar pattern, he is forced to re-examine events and people in his own life in order to get to the bottom of deception and fraud before another ill-fated plane takes off. But there are forces at work that won't let him uncover the truth. With time against him, only Tom and his sultry partner, hotshot lawyer Maria Phillips, can piece together the clues that will save a third airline from disaster.
