City of Toronto Security Guards Harassing Homeless People at Central Intake (Peter Street, TORONTO)
yes, i am pissed! i was also “homeless” and having a bipolar crisis and with nowhere to go
this is outside 129 Peter Street, which is the “Central Intake” for homeless people in Toronto with nowhere to go
it is bad enough that there are currently no shelter beds or warming spots anywhere in the City of Toronto for homeless people - God knows how and why people are not just freezing to death “out there”
these guys are the “face of the city” and all they do is harass people and throw their weight around
they are GOONS, just like some street people who prey on and bully others (who these guys do NOTHING about)
i was threatened with a weapon and most of my stuff was stolen. all this guy had to say was, “what drugs are you on?” (something like that)
i had nowhere to go and my back was up against the wall and so i gave him shit and then pulled out my phone and recorded this video
no chance the guy was going to back down or be humble or contrite or just plain NORMAL
no chance he was gonna say, “i am sorry for what you are going through” or anything like that
like a typical bully, he just shows up looking for a fight and someone to push around...
look at them scurry away like the COCKROACHES they are
is this how you train your people, City of Toronto?
you do not give a damn about homeless people, hungry and freezing to death
we are all criminals and junkies to you
dialling “411” costs 50 cents, thanks to your partners at Bell
there is no way for street kids and the poor and vulnerable to access vital City resources and you do not care
