This area is an infamous party place in Phuket. It's a long road filled with bars on top of bars, next to go-go-dancing. Depends on who you are, this could be your playground if you like to party but it's still can be a great experience even if you don't.
A walk down Bangla road at night is a must for any first time Phuket visit but think twice if you plan to go with your children.
