What to pack for a sketching trip to india?
I am sharing what I have packed for a 7 day sketching trip to Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh in this video. I am going with the Singapore urban sketchers and we will be there for a week to cover 14 villages. We were given targets of making 10 drawings (larger than A4 size) but I gave myself a target of 15 A3 pieces.
MATERIALS:
Portable sketching kit:
DIY sketchbook from Saunders Waterford cold press paper
6 colour watercolour palette
Waterbrush (aqualish fine brush)
Pen (carbon platinum desk pen)
On location kit:
Watercolour metal palette and 30 colours
Paint brushes (squirrel mop, round brush, cat tongue, small synthetic brush)
Quarter sheet watercolour paper (Saunders Waterford CP, arches CP, bockingford CP, Fabriano white HP)
Ink (Noodler’s black, noodler’s Lexington grey and Super8 red)
Pencil and eraser,
Water bottle, towel, spray bottle
Sketch stool
Hat
Mossie repel and coil
