The concept of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is deeply interconnected with God's revealed name, YHWH, in the Bible. YHWH, often translated as "I Am" or "The One Who Is," signifies God's eternal, self-sufficient, and unchanging nature. Though the name YHWH appears most prominently in the Old Testament, the New Testament brings fuller understanding of God's triune nature. The Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are each distinct persons, yet they are all one in essence, united in the divine name. The singular name YHWH encapsulates this mystery of one God in three persons, each equally and fully participating in the divine identity. This unity in diversity mirrors the relational, eternal love within the Godhead, showing how God’s nature as YHWH holds within it the fullness of the Trinity.
