Did you know IRCC uses UTC time (not your local time zone) to calculate your submission deadlines for:
📩 PFL & Document Requests
🩸 Biometrics & Medicals
🎓 Study Permits & Work Permits
💼 PGWP applications
👉 If your deadline says September 15, that means 11:59 PM UTC, not midnight in your city!
💡 Example:
🕗 Toronto – 8 PM
🕖 Winnipeg – 7 PM
🕕 Calgary – 6 PM
🕔 Vancouver – 5 PM
For paper-based applications, IRCC must receive your package by the deadline (with a 7-day grace period).
