UMIDIGI S3 pro :
Chinese phone manufacturer UMIDIGI is set to stun the industry with yet another phone model with an outstanding specs lineup. The device dubbed UMIDIGI S3 Pro has as its standout feature Sony’s most advanced camera sensor – the IMX586 with a super 48MP shutter.
Sony first announced the IMX586 stacked CMOS image sensor for smartphone cameras in July this year. The new sensor features 48 effective megapixels, the industry’s highest pixel count. The new product also achieved a world-first ultra-compact pixel size of 0.8 μm, making it possible to pack 48 effective megapixels onto a 1/2-type (8.0 mm diagonal) unit, thereby supporting enhanced imaging on smartphone cameras. Interestingly, the UMIDIGI S3 Pro may likely be the first device to utilise the new sensor and not a Huawei or Sony flagship. It is presently the largest you can find on a smartphone. It beats the Huawei P20 Pro 40MP sensor as well as the 41MP sensor on the good old Lumia 1020. The increased resolution should help UMIDIGI S3 Pro make for better daytime snaps as well as deliver superb shooting performance at night.
Yet another spectacular feature is the massive 5150mAh battery that would be onboard the device. This is way bigger than the battery we find onboard most flagships around. The battery will ensure the phone is capable of an extended usage period. Other details of the device are still sketchy but no doubt the device holds lots of promises in various aspects.
