Using Vocabulary Builder - iOS
It's important to use an AAC system with a robust vocabulary. When teaching words to beginning communicators, it may be helpful to limit distractions to increase successful attempts. The LAMP Words For Life app includes Vocabulary Builder that lets you show all of the targeted words from a word list you create without the distraction of the remaining vocabulary. Learners can access words using the same motor pattern for the word that will be the motor pattern to say that word forever. Vocabulary Builder allows for quick changes so that targeted words can be adjusted based on the immediate interest of the learner. Vocabulary Builder supports creation of custom words lists and lets you save them for later retrieval.
