2024 note: I made this video in 2018 during a wildfire smoke event in California. It predates the COVID-19 pandemic, hence there being no mention of covid in the video. If I were making this video today, I would emphasize that N95 masks are among the best protection against both particulates such as wildfire smoke and respiratory pathogens such as the virus that causes covid.
