RIP Prod Jak
Dear All,
It is with profound grief that we have to inform you of the sudden passing of our beloved son Jakub Halani, a talented music producer, artist, and friend. He sadly took his own life on 2nd February 2023.
Jakub Halani, more widely known in his artists’ circle, as ProdJak was an amazing and gifted musician.
Successful Musical Career
After a stellar performance in academics at high school, he acquired a taste for creativity in music production and started releasing original music via various streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. Together, his tracks have been streamed over 100 million times, with steadily growing subscribers and followers, who sought out his music across Europe and North America.
Over the last four years, he collaborated with various industry-leading artists like Idi Aks, Ronzo and Alex1, mainly focusing on the Grime and Rap genres of music. His prime focus had been to work with new and upcoming talent and work together towards success. He also supported local artists based in his hometown Manchester, England, working with them at the local studios and becoming an integral part of Manchester’s music scene.
At the time of his passing, he was working on various projects with US and UK-based music labels.
We are truly devastated to lose such a talented artist at such a young age.
Funeral
His funeral was scheduled for Monday 13th February at the Cathedral church of St. John the Evangelist, Salford, M3 5LL at 10 am. We will also continue to collaborate with existing and new contracts using his wide collection of musical portfolios. We are in liaison with his management company Rimes Management to honour Jak’s ongoing projects and contracts.
