How To Open A Stuck PT Cruiser Hood Release
If your PT Cruiser's hood is stuck down, here is a technique for getting at the latch to perform repairs. You will need a flashlight (even in the daylight) and a long thin screwdriver with a 1/4" blade.
If your release cable is broken, stuck, or disconnected, you can still get the hood open by using a screwdriver to move the release lever just inside the hood latch assembly. This video will illustrate how to access that release lever.
