In this video we are going to remember Ohm's Law from an experimental and practical point of view. We are going to see the importance of this law in electrical installations in order to to avoid voltage drops following the indications of national and international regulations, for example in tunnel lighting systems. We are also going to see its application to the construction of voltage dividers that allow obtaining lower voltages from higher voltages, as is the case of the Fluke 80k-40 high voltage probe which, thanks to a voltage divider, allows reducing the voltage from 40,000 volts down to just 40 volts so that a standard multimeter can be used to measure that voltage.
