Garbage Disposal Installation
Our EZ Connect disposals are easier to install than ever before. Your InSinkErator® garbage disposal includes the following components: Stopper, sink baffle, sink flange, fiber gasket, backup flange, snap ring, mounting ring, screws, EZ Connect Cord or Hardwire Adapter, flange, Anti-Vibration Tailpipe Mount, spring clamp, discharge tube. Important: turn off electric power before beginning installation.
Removing the Old Disposal: If removing an existing disposal, place a bowl under the disposal to catch any water. Disconnect the drain trap from the waste discharge tube. Supporting the disposal, insert the end of the supplied wrenchette into the right side of the mounting lug and turn clockwise. The disposal is heavy and will fall free. Next, flip the disposal over and remove the electrical cover plate.
