This is the Hidden Record from the Bandcamp version of Whattup Preemo.
I've been on my music grind for quite some time now.
Recording, networking ,performing and earning my stripes for years.
However despite of being steadfast in my grind, I wouldn't consider myself "popular."
With that being said, a recurring theme is getting my validity questioned.
Questions/Statements like:
"Never heard of him, who is he? Is he really cool with those cats he's in those pictures with? What projects does he have? Does he still rap? I don't see him opening up for big names. I don't see him buzzing." etc.
Honestly I found it to be quite annoying.
However instead of letting it break me down, I decided to put it into a song.
And the irony is it wound up being one my favorite songs I ever made.
I'm gonna be doing this regardless of whether I'm considered "buzzworthy" or not.
So I'll answer all your questions but then you got to go. So the question I ask you is how bad you wanna know?
