Lil Uzi Vert - Modern Day Rockstar (Documentary)
“Lil Uzi Vert: Modern Day Rockstar” is a short documentary style video exploring what it means to be a rockstar, and how artists throughout time have fit and helped evolve this persona. Lil Uzi Vert has repeatedly attributed his artistic inspiration to the established rockstars of history, rock icons like GG Allin and Marilyn Manson. Throughout the piece, I use editing techniques to frame the narratives of these three artists as continuations of a similar theme; the disregard for societal guidelines and push towards new and controversial expressions of art is put on display through interview and performance clips from all three artists.
