My name is Monique and I'm a mother of three from Charlotte, NC. On my channel, you'll find family-friendly DIYs, mommy-approved decorating tips, and extreme room makeovers! Now, there are lots of channels that show you how to makeover a room but I am different. I have a very unique way of looking at home design - homes should be designed with your kids in mind. If it's too good to use, touch or eat on -- leave it in the store! You're trying to create a home -- not a museum! Kids should be comfortable in the space they live in and they should help to design that space. Your family will appreciate it and they'll appreciate you for the memories.
But home makeovers aren't the only things you'll find on this channel. You will see a woman who is a survivor showing you real life in real time. You see, I am a survivor! A survivor of divorce, a survivor of a screwed up family court system, a survivor of a messed up ex, a survivor of naysayers who spent time gossiping about me instead of helping me and it was my one desire to create a home that my kids would love that drove me back to sanity, it made me smile again, it reconnected me to life and that helped me find my best self!
I know what it's like to lose everything and rise again! And my desire to create a home that my kids would love and enjoy was my driving force. I want to help other "do-it-all" moms create a safe, enjoyable, livable space for their families too. I invite you to join me on this part of my journey.
