In this video, I’m sharing a SUPER handy hack for taking data from a photo or screenshot and importing it directly into Microsoft Excel as usable data in individual cells!
Often, when you are working with others, they will have hard copy or scanned versions of tables of information, that you might need to input into Excel to make a manageable system from.
Typically, that would mean manually entering all that data … can you think of a worse way to spend your time?
Using Excel’s ‘Import from Picture’ tool, you can get Excel to do all the work for you! See exactly how I do it in this video!
Knowing how to work smarter with the features inside Microsoft Excel is a really powerful way for you to confidently manage and work with your data, so that you can continue to find efficiencies in your daily workflow.
Remember that I am working on Microsoft 365 on the desktop, using a Mac, so if you are using a PC or the web versions, your layout may look a little different. However, all versions of Excel will let you perform this feature the same way as I’ve demonstrated here.
