DIY Wooden Sign
I like to make a lot of signs, and buying them pre-made at the craft store can be pricey. And lets be honest, they aren't a very high quality either. So I decided to make my own. This is extremely easy. You end up with a much nicer sign at a lower cost. All you need is a 1x 4 x 6 (a six foot long board) and a 1 x 2 (of any length). These can be bought at Home Depot or Lowe's. In addition you will need some wood screws and some stain. Tools needed: drill, sand paper, and stain. (I used Minwax penetrating stain in English Chestnut). Happy Crafting!
