Trailer brakes - when it all goes wrong!
Some may think that my videos are planned, staged so to speak. Well that's just not the case, sure, jobs come in & I choose which to film but how the job goes,what issues we find & what needs to be fixed is all real, exactly how is unfolds during the job.
Of course there are plenty of repairs that I have started to film & for one reason or another have just had to stop. For example if not all the parts needed have been sent or if they are completely wrong, or maybe the 'fault' just can't be replicated in the workshop.
Well, this was supposed to be an easy, short 'how to' video which turned out to be just a battle between man & nut. I have greatly editied down the footage, the removal of the nut took literally hours, there was much swearing, a few cigarettes & lunch all off camera but we got there in the end!
I'm sure you will have many stories to tell too of how a simple job blew up into a complete nightmare. How did you handle it? More importantly if it's a retail job, how do you tackle the issue with the customer due to huge cost increases?
