Honda BIGRED airfilter replacement
Another relatively simple job to remove, clean, inspect, re-oil & refit the air filter. However, as is often the case this job didn't quite go so smoothly as planned....
Correct air filter fitment is critical to prevent dust ingress into your engine - if this happens then it can at the very least cause accelerated engine wear to the cylinder, piston & rings, often causing the engine to start to burn oil. YThe dirt can also wear valve stems & guides too adding to the oil consumption of your engine. It's important to make sure the air filter is in good condition & is well sealed to the air box to prevent this from happening.
