Alumni Spotlight: Kweku Ulzen, Senior Data Scientist at Nielsen
Kweku Ulzen earned a degree in Management Information Systems and then went to work in Microsoft‘s Consulting Services division. He did that for three years and then shifted to a job as a Premier Field Engineer supporting IT infrastructure strategy and business operations for customers using Microsoft's data platform and business intelligence products. But that was not as quantitative as he wanted to be in his future career, so he made the decision to immerse himself in data science, enrolled in the NYC Data Science Academy. That qualified Kweku for a position as a Senior Data Scientist at Nielsen where he also gets to draw on his familiarity with cloud computing.
