AGE Gouraud Cube in AMOS - AMIGA AGA
This is a version of my Gouraud shading demo originally created during the pllbc2p days for the Amiga. It has been adapted for use with the AGE (graphics) library as part of the demo package.
The entire system runs within AMOS, with AMOS calling the underlying libraries to create the surfaces and render them seamlessly together.
What is Gouraud Shading anyway ?
Gouraud shading is a shading technique used in computer graphics to enhance the visual realism of 3D objects. It works by interpolating colors or shading values across the vertices of a polygon and then smoothly blending these colors or values across the entire surface of the polygon. This creates a gradual transition from one color to another, simulating how light interacts with a 3D object and producing a smooth and visually appealing effect. Gouraud shading is particularly useful in achieving realistic lighting and shading on 3D models, making them appear more lifelike and three-dimensional
