1999 Protege 1.6L Front Brakes, Rotors and Slide Pins
how to change change the front brakes on a 1999 Mazada protege1.6L, rotors and slide pins. The overall condition of the pads were not horrible but the main problem was the slide pins, which were dry as sharia dessert. Because the slide pins were not sliding the back of the rotor was all ground up, and horrible scrapping noise would occur every time i wanted to slow down or stop. ALWAYS grease your slide pins when doing a brake job!
