It is impossible to predict what will happen to mankind in the near future, but we can at least discuss what awaits us through the recent events and the results presented for some scientific research.

In this video we'll discuss some of the assumptions for the future of mankind, whether short or long term.

Curiosity, necessity of territorial expansion, depletion of the Earth's resources, as it is known by the WWF that around 2030, humanity will be consuming 2 x more resources per year than the earth can provide.

The Mars program One that intends to take humans to inhabit Mars until 2025.

The program Space X that has been developing reusable means of propulsion and is closely linked to NASA, believed to be the company to get humans to Mars in 2026.

NASA itself believes that until 2035 will try to put humans on Mars.

Human Evolution

Have you ever stopped to think about how humanity will look out 100,000 years?

About human evolution and many speculations, as will the appearance of mankind out 100,000 years.

There are some theories that humans will not one, but two different species.

The first, the elite, composed of humans well developed, having between 1.82 and 2.13 high, some physical characteristics, such as eye and skin pigmentation, changes in voice and body for for example.

The second group would be composed of human beings underdeveloped physically and mentally.

It is speculated that mankind will reach its peak in the year 3000, taking your life expectancy increased by 40 years, compared with the humanity of the present day.

This evolution can be observed when we noticed that the 3rd molars or wisdom teeth.

Robots and artificial intelligence:

Stephen Hawking cites this as one of the ways to eliminate the human race, since the robots would be dominant. Some works have already been replaced by software or machinery, the autonomous cars is gaining space. And according to him, it won't take more than 100 years for all this transformation to occur.

Hawking still claims that robots might become self manufacturable, coming to a point where human intervention is no longer needed. Due to advances in artificial intelligence, will come the time that a robot will produce another robot, better, smarter and so on.

Genetic engineering and trans-humanism

And if we were robots? Through genetic engineering we could delete everything that was a negative feature.

We could make use of greater brain capacity and make our bodies physically stronger, increasing their endurance, strength, speed.

Through technology, we could expand the capacity of our bodies with exoskeletons, through nanotechnology, rebuild or prevent the emergence of disease and the natural degeneration of the body, cloning, where we'd do a backup of our brains and when we died, we could use it to continue living where we left off. ... And who knows what else might come up in the search for eternal life?

But what if all of us were able to live much longer? What would be the effects of that? The planet would not have space and or resources for so many people.

Imagine what can be done with genetic issues for the Betterment of the human being. An idea that some people think that the ethics and all limits by playing God ...

Or just that there is no future.

NASA recently released a survey that the planet Earth has hosted more than 30 so-called advanced civilizations that disappeared. Just like in the present day, have suffered with the same challenge. Rise and collapse.

From 1 hour to other mankind would be extinct.

Many have been the dates scheduled for the end of the world. Until today never happened, but when it happens?

Even if it's nothing catastrophic like what we're used to seeing in movies that deal with the subject.

Whether through a mega earthquake, an ice age, nuclear war, a new epidemic, inversion of the magnetic poles, or a spatial threat such as an asteroid.

Personally I think the most likely is a solar storm.

There was already a registered in 1859, but the effects were not that comparable with what we'd get today. The current population being highly dependent on electrical and electronic circuits succumb before a giant magnetic pulse emitted by our Sun.

These are some of the possibilities that we may face in the future. Leave your opinion here in the comments about what you think of this format and what could be improved for the next videos.
