ICE GIANT announces their new studio album GHOST OF HUMANITY, to be released on September 8th, 2023.
ICE GIANT combines the styles of melodic death metal and thrash metal with epic symphonic orchestrations, soaring vocals, and complex song structures. Their new concept album GHOST OF HUMANITY follows the last survivors of the human race as they escape from a biomechanical plague and search the galaxy for a new home. Thematically, the album deals with moral questions regarding the nature of humanity’s relationship with each other, our planet, and the legacy we wish to leave for our descendants.
GHOST OF HUMANITY features artwork by Adam Burke of Nightjar Illustrations. Recorded and Mixed by Brian Westbrook at Sonic Titan Studios in Shelburne Falls, MA. Keyboards and Orchestrations recorded by Vikram Shankar at Black bear Audio in Asheville, NC. Mastered by Jack Kosto.
