Is this a European longsword or Chinese jian? Swordier The Lion King review

This is the Lion King from sword shop Swordier. It was bought by sword friend Frank and sent directly to me for review. Unfortunately, it's no longer available on Swordier's site, although it can be found listed on several other sites, such as Ali Express and eBay.
This is a complicated sword, bearing more resemblance to a jian than a longsword in my opinion. When Frank bought it, the price was around $250 (Correction - $300). Let's see how the sword performs and if I think it is worth that price.
