Howdy Youtube! After three loooong months I am finally back on the Tube! A HUGE apology goes out to the faithful followers for my absence on the channel! Its been a long time since I uploaded, but I hopefully will be able to stay more active from this point forward.
During winter, a few days of consistent sunlight and warmer temperatures can heat the shallow waters enough, even if by merely a few degrees, to make bass more active and draw them off the deep, vertical structure and into the shallow flats and points to feed. Throwing some slightly faster moving baits on the points and shallow cover during these warm periods can make for an awesome day of fishing!
Texas winters have a lot of warm stretches like these, and on this 65 degree January day, a 1/2 ounce white Z-Man chatterbait (with a Lake Fork swimbait trailer) and a weightless Texas rigged senko in the shallows did the trick, and i got a few on camera for you guys to see. Hope to be more active here soon. Hope y'all enjoy!
