Double Ball Is Broken In Draft! Easy 7-0!
Drafting Double Ball in Gwent Draft is the easiest way to farm free gold cards in draft. Gwent draft offers a free gold card (epic or legendary) if you go undefeated (7-0). Double Ball is by FAR the most broken, easiest way to pull this off.
You have two "powerful" single cards (YenVo, Foltest, Haunt, etc.) You want to eventually get both of these to be Ball. You want to aim at getting Nilfgaard cards so that the game gives you more of them. Don't worry too much about your leader ability as long as it is Nilfgaard. I'm sure lockdown isn't great but as you will see, Nilfgaard is all you need. The leader ability is just the frosting on a brutal 10/10 faction.
Obviously you can't do this every game but as long as you get 4 wins, you breakeven. This means you can get your 150 ore back and queue it up again. Not too bad!
In under 1 hour 30 minutes, I turned 150 ore into 150 ore, scraps, a keg, and a gold card. That's awesome. As draft moves towards proper balancing slowly overtime, this opportunity will go away. Exploit it.
