The Red Kite as of 6th April 2022 is now part of a new family of Pubs which includes the The Travellers Rest in Witton Gilbert & Bishops Lodge in Bishop Auckland. The pub is open Monday to Sunday 11am to 11pm with food served Monday to Saturday 12pm to 8:30pm & Sunday 12pm to 7pm. Dine from our main menu & join us every Sunday for Sunday Lunch with special available throughout the week. Outside the pub there is a large car park area, planting and garden furniture to entice walkers on the Derwent Walk and dogs are very welcome.
