THE A PLUS SCHOOL (1966). Narrated by Lorne Greene. The Department of Defense, Office of Civil Defense. DOD CD 5-242. The film discusses the then-new South Salem Elementary School that was constructed to protect against fallout in Salem, Virginia. Almost exactly 50 years after its dedication in 1964, the school was razed. A new South Salem Elementary now stands on the property. This film was obtained through the National Archives and Records Administration.
