KORG volca modular: "Liquid Alloy" - Self-triggering patch
This is one of my first experiments with the KORG volca modular micro-modular synthesizer. I'm completely new to this kind of West Coast style synthesis, but the concept of creating complex soundscapes with the element of coincidence is quite appealing. I created this self-triggering patch and recorded it for about ten minutes. It's some kind of hypnotic and kind of hard to recognize a pattern in the sounds as there is so much randomization going on. Follow me on this little sonic expedition and tell me, what you think about it.
The delay effect is coming from a KORG KAOSS PAD KP3, anything else is the pure sound of the volca modular and its built-in "space" effect.
