Bykov: "Is Putin’s Secret Goal the Large-Scale Disposal of the Population?"
"Isn't Vladimir Putin's secret goal a massive population decimation? Putin, acutely aware of his own enormous personality, is trying to minimize Russia's territory and population to his own level. That is, he apparently intends to keep the people who will pump the oil, the people who will guard him personally, and those who pump the oil, and the gas pipeline." © Dmitry Bykov
The rate of Russian population decline has accelerated: according to Rosstat, in the first half of 2024, natural population decline (the excess of deaths over births) in the Russian Federation amounted to 321,500 people. This is 18% more than in the same period last year (then it was 272,500). Incidentally, according to Rosstat's forecast, by 2046 the number of Russians will decrease to 138.77 million, which will be the lowest since the Soviet era. If this is Putin's "plan," then everything is indeed going according to plan.
