Last year, native expert Angus Stewart planted beautiful a native wildflower bed featuring a variety of Kangaroo Paws (Anigozanthos hybrid), Billy Buttons (Pycnosorus globosus) and Everlasting Daisies (Rhodanthe chlorocephala).
The plants have been regularly fed with Bush Tucker to help them reach their full potential, resulting in this floriferous display last spring.
A birdbath created by Mallee Design features in the middle of the bed and has clearly become a hotspot for a local Superb fairy-wren, Currawong and a Yellow-throated honeyeater.
We look forward to seeing what visitors this garden brings this spring!
🌿 As native expert Angus Stewart says, "Whilst native plants are great survivors in the garden, regular feeding helps them to thrive and reach their full potential. The benefits of doing so are not only enjoyed by yourself, by insects, bees and birds, but perhaps more importantly, the environment benefits - the greater the plant growth, the more carbon is captured.” Neutrog’s Bush Tucker was developed in conjunction with Angus and soil scientist Simon Leake to meet the needs of all Australian native plants, even the most phosphorous-sensitive plants.
