I am going in mostly blind after playing a bit of all the beta tests. I find out the sequencing is quite different! It takes me a bit to get adjusted to the controls and timing of attacks. I am not used to the slinger and keep trying to use Flash Bombs as an item, not as slinger ammo...
I have been playing Monster Hunter since MH3U!
This time we jump right into clearing more sidequests to unlock more stuff that will help us in our adventure through the postgame story, starting with a Tempered Balahara. It goes a lot better than our very first encounter with the monster.
Later on we tangle with a Guardian Ebony Odogaron and a quest featuring two monsters in the jungle before wrapping things up in the Iceshard Cliffs. Shadows Dancing on the Ice is such a good battle theme!!
