Asphalt Blanket Application on the Floor - Volkswagen Brasilia 1979
In this video I show the application of asphalt blanket on the floor of my Volkswagen Brasilia in 1979.
I tried to pass on some tips and explain about the application.
The idea is to reduce noise and improve the internal acoustic (internal acoustic insulation).
On top of the asphalt blanket, I also placed an anti-noise felt / blanket, with practically double coverage.
When preparing the floor I used Hammerite, which converts and prevents rust. The same process can be done on any car, Beetle, Variant, Kombi, Chevette, Gol, anyway ... the result is very cool.

The high adhesive asphalt blanket I used I bought at Leroy Merlin, I decided to use the 15cm wide one because I found it easier to stick and ensure that there would be no air bubbles underneath.
