Applying a Layer Effect in Illustrator - Transform Effect
This tutorial teaches you how to apply the Transform Effect to a Layer in Illustrator, using the Appearance Panel. Using the Transform Effect on a Layer allows you to repeat objects and create patterns in earlier versions of Illustrator that do not have the CS6/CC Pattern Editing Mode.
