Mac OS : your disk is almost full, save space by optimizing storage
In this video, I tried to use common-sense and bottleneck-search to find huge files and delete them (if unwanted) to gain more space on my macbook.
What I did in the video:
1. delete unwanted videos
2. delete unwanted downloads
3. uninstall unwanted programs / apps
4. delete remaining files of uninstalled apps
5. delete fcpbundle file if I didn't need it any more
6. delete iMovies theater file if I didn't need it any more
7. free up error logging files, such as mbp.local.err
NOTE : if you are a web developer you'll see a huge size .err files, those files hold the error logs of mysql and apache server you use. You can free them up as you can see in the video. Those error logging files consume too much space.
