Wheel Falls Off PPG Trike During Instructional Tandem Flight
Embarrassing a little, but ultimately a benign event on the overall scheme of things. During prototyping of the tandem wheeled setup, I slipped mentally during assembly and failed to lock the left wheel onto the axle. It held on long enough to take off, but wasn't there for the precautionary landing that had to be made due to motor problems.
