Preview ~ "Atmos" by overdefo, Thomartin, Belonzik & more | Geometry Dash
what‘s up, girls? it has been a hot minute since the last preview of atmos but here we finally are! this time around we‘re showcasing parts made by overdefo, belonzik, thomartin, cdpre and hann with the exceptional help of mels who’s done an amazing job upgrading and finalizing a lot of parts to fit the overall vision for the project.
you can probably already tell that there‘s a certain theme going on in the level. to put it brief and short, atmos plays with the idea of ascension. the player starts underground within caves and a dark atmosphere, making their way to nature and its different layers. you can see the idea behind the „layers“ really nicely in the split part made entirely by thomartin where there’s the sky on top and a green forest-y environment on the bottom. the drop will lead the player through space and a final theme that i‘m not sharing just yet. the ending pulls everything together combining a lot of the theming elements for a calm outro.
regarding difficulty, it‘s too early to tell, really. rest assured that, in its current state, atmos should place around top 20-30 if it doesn‘t undergo heavy nerfing. i‘m sorry in advance to everyone who thought this was going to be as easy as napalm lol.
