Ms. Salma is having a strong knowledge about Excel, her area of interest is Data communication & cognitive psychology. she will be be talking about Data Storytelling in general, the importance of it, cognitive load theory, and common data visualization best practices.
If time permits, she would like to share a lot of examples about how we can improve the way we represent charts that can reduce cognitive stress, increase impact of the message, and enhance visual experience for the audience.

About the Speaker

After nearly two decades of building a successful career in corporate, in the field of Business Strategy and Analytics, Salma finally made the decision to start out on my own and share my wealth of knowledge and expertise with others.
During my career, she have primarily worked alongside C-Suite executives, change & transformation teams, project managers and consultants from McKinsey to drive major strategic decisions for the organization. And now, I want to show everyone how exactly we can drive impact with data.
Currently, she is work as an independent consultant and trainer. Although she built her career using Excel, her main area of interest has always been effective Data Storytelling, optimal Data Visualization techniques, and best practices for presenting data to ensure maximum Visual Experience.
Ms. Salma goal is quite simple - help people understand and bridge the gap between communication, data & design.
