Bat Blue's next generation, high speed, low latency IP network, BlueNET, has been designed as a cloud-enablement network that takes a radically different approach to transporting data. BlueNET's Transport Services deliver a variety of transport services including Lit Fiber Ethernet, Single Channel Ethernet, DWDM Lit Fiber Multi-Channel Ethernet, Metro and Regional Dark Fiber, and MPLS Services. BlueNET is designed to improve performance as traffic on the network increases. The more clients using the network, the more efficient the network becomes. BlueNET has full BGP Peering Tables at each data center location and this empowers client networks to make decisions regarding the best egress site on BlueNET at their Internet perimeter and ride a Layer 2 network to that point.
Bat Blue has taken a proactive approach in consulting with clients for migrating to IPv6. BlueNET is an IPv4 and IPv6 network, supporting IPv4, IPv6, and V6-in-V4 encapsulation. Bat Blue includes a minimum /48 IPv6 block assignment.
BlueNET is designed to support both horizontal as well as vertical expansion through change management with no re-engineering effort. As technology changes and as demand for bandwidth increases, BlueNET is well poised to scale to meet future demands.
