Smart Alternator 12v, How does the Alternator and ECU talk to each other ?
Here we look at the signal between the ECU and alternator. This is the signal from the ECU so the alternator chargers the battery depending on load on the battery and electrical system when things such as lights , air conditioner etc are turned on the vary the alternator charge rate.
